Mr. Russell is making his Broadway debut as author and lyricist. His book and lyric credits include Pageant, Fourtune and The Texas Chainsaw Musical Off-Broadway. He wrote book and lyrics and directed Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens Off Off-Broadway and in London. Mr. Russell adapted the book of CallMe Madam for City Center's Encores!

Roger Allers & Irene Mecchi, The Lion King
Mr. Allers is making his Broadway debut with this adaptation from The Lion King film, which he co-directed. He has worked at Disney since 1988. Ms. Mecchi is a co-writer of the Disney films
The Lion King, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Hercules. She has worked at Disney since 1992. Mr. Allers and Ms. Mecchi are currently working on Disney's Kingdom of the Sun.

Nan Knighton, The Scarlet Pimpernel
Ms. Knighton is making her Broadway debut as an author. She has written for Radio City Music Hall, public television, cabaret, industrials and the film My Little Girl. Some of Ms. Knighton's current projects include the book adaptation of Saturday Night Fever, which just opened in London, and book and lyrics for two original musicals with composer Howard Marren.
