Based on the original screenplay by Dean Pitchford, the musical features a stage adaptation by Pitchford and Walter Bobbie with music by Tom Snow, lyrics by Pitchford and additional music by Eric Carmen, Sammy Hagar, Kenny Loggins and Jim Steinman. The creative team also includes scenic designer Michael Schweikardt, lighting designer Chris Chambers, costume designer Jose Rivera, musical director Eric Alsford, assistant musical director James Olmstead and sound designer James McCartney.
Footloose is a co-production with the Cape Playhouse.
