The musical Notre-Dame de Paris at the Dominion Theatre has announced that it will be closing Oct. 6, after a run of 16 months.
The musical - about the gypsy girl who attracts the affections of the hunchback, Quasimodo, who dwells in the bell tower of Notre Dame cathedral received mixed reviews when it opened in May 2000.
The next production at the Dominion Theatre has not yet been announced - although it is widely thought that it will be the musical We Will Rock You, written by Ben Elton and featuring the songs of Queen, to open early 2002.
