A new off-Broadway revue with the engaging title I Love You, You're Perfect . . . Now Change! will begin previews July 15 for an Aug. 1 opening at the Westside Theatre in New York.

The musical revue by composer Jimmy Roberts (A...My Name Is Still Alice) and lyricist/librettist Joe DiPietro (Over the River and Through the Woods) promises a satirical examination of "the last surviving special interest group in America: Hopeful Heterosexuals."

It's the first show from the "Favored Nations" workshop group to get a major production in New York. Favored Nations was formed in 1994 to help develop new musicals.

The musical, which is being produced by James Hammerstein, Bernie Kukoff and Jonathan Pollard, stars Jordan Leeds, Jennifer Simard, Robert Roznowski and Melissa Weil. Musical director is Tom Fay, sets are by Neil Peter Jampolis.
