Nunsense A-Men receives its Southeast debut Oct. 16 at the American Stage in St. Petersburg, FL, after previews Oct. 14-15. The show will run on the Stage's mainstage through Nov. 15.

With book, music and lyrics by Dan Goggin, Nunsense A-Men is the same story of the fund-raising talent show put on by the Little Sisters of Hoboken to bury their own lost to a food poisoning incident. There's a twist, however -- the Little Sisters are really Little Brothers.

Kenneth Mitchell directs Jack Eddleman (Sister Mary Regina), Matt Elkins (Sister Mary Hubert), Christopher Swan (Sister Robert Anne), Robert Thomas (Sister Mary Leo) and Jon Van Middlesworth (Sister Mary Amnesia).

Yvette McGregor choreographed the show with Mark McGee as musical director. The design team features Steven D. Lowe (set), Holly Ann Hill (costumes) and Ken Kaczynski (light). William G. Shepard Jr. is the company manager.

Nunsense replaced Little Shop of Horrors in late July when American Stage feared that Shop would be too taxing on the theatre's budget. Tickets are $28-$20 and can be ordered by calling (727) 822-8814. The American Stage is located at 211 Third St. South.
