In Forsaking, the four characters are entangled in this surreptitious menage a quatre. Alan and Jennifer are married and David and Chloe are dating. However, Alan is sleeping with Chloe and David is sleeping with Jennifer.

Dykstra heads the cast that plays the four philandering friends along with Cynthia Babak, Sarah Baker, and Rob Sedgwick (whose sister Kyra is playing about a mile north in the Vineyard Theatre's Stranger). Thom Weaver takes on set and lighting design while Ken Hypes handles sound.

Dykstra is currently working on a romantic comedy to star Hank Azaria. His other works include SexReligionPoliticsIsolationLove&Rage StraightUp/WaterBack, A Sane Policy and his most recent, Hiding Behind Comets.
