Rebecca Luker will sing "My Favorite Things" and Marc Anthony will offer a preview of The Capeman in the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, being broadcast across the U.S. on NBC-TV Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27.

Also promised: numbers from the Broadway productions of Chicago, Titanic, Street Corner Symphony, Smokey Joe's Cafe and the national tour of Peter Pan.

Just announced: Side Show will stage the full production number, "We Share Everything," featuring stars Alice Ripley and Emily Skinner.

The parade, which features colossal balloons and themed floats, will be seen live on the East Coast 9 AM to noon that day; then on tape delay in the same time period across the country.

The telecast stars at 9 AM with performances in front of the Macy's flagship store on West 34th Street in NY. Titanic will perform the "Sail On" section of the show's opening sequence. Street Corner Symphony and Chicago have not yet announced which songs they will do. Appearing on floats in the body of the parade will be the cast of Smoky Joe's Cafe doing "I'm a Woman"; Marc Anthony and the cast of The Capeman doing "Satin Summer Nights"; Luker giving a preview of her spring 1998 The Sound of Music with children on "My Favorite Things"; and Cathy Rigby doing a number from her new national tour of Peter Pan.

There will be several other theatre-related performances as well. One float will feature songs from the animated musical Anastasia, with songs by the Ragtime team of Ahrens & Flaherty; Liz Callaway debuting the song "Santa Claus Adventure"; Deborah Gibson (of Beauty and the Beast) singing numbers from her new CD; and Vicki Lewis (Damn Yankees) singing "Join the Circus" from Barnum.

Radio City Music Hall's Rockettes precision dance corps also will be featured.
