News   NYC Cabaret & Nightlife Writer Donna Coe Dies, Age 47 Farewell to Donna Coe, former cabaret and comedy columnist for the New York Post (1991-95) and NY Daily News (1995-March 1998). Coe, 47, died June 13 after a prolonged illness, according to cabaret press agent Jim Baldassare. Two days earlier Coe had married her fiance, Jim Tatum, in her hospital room.

Farewell to Donna Coe, former cabaret and comedy columnist for the New York Post (1991-95) and NY Daily News (1995-March 1998). Coe, 47, died June 13 after a prolonged illness, according to cabaret press agent Jim Baldassare. Two days earlier Coe had married her fiance, Jim Tatum, in her hospital room. A graduate of University of Miami's theatre department, Coe appeared with the Miami improv troupe "Intensive Care Unit." As a journalist, she covered comedy for the trade publication Back Stage and was nightlife editor for City Guide magazine.

A funeral service, open to the public, will be held at Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel, 1076 Madison Ave., NY, at 11:30 AM (EST) June 16.
