The annual holiday concert kicks off the Chorus' 24th season. The evening — featuring conductor Jeffrey Maynard — will include a Boogie-Woogie Hanukkah song, a gospel version of "Hallelujah Chorus," a jazz arrangement of "Carol of the Bells," Irving Berlin's "Love, You Didn't Do Right By Me" and a tune titled "Rude Christmas." The 8 PM concert will also boast the Youth Pride Chorus, the Ambassador Chorus and Uptown Express. New York City Gay Men's Chorus, which was formed in 1980, is a 200 voice male chorus dedicated to the performance of classical and contemporary choral music. The chorus also features two smaller ensembles, the more classically oriented Ambassador Chorus and the pop subgroup Uptown Express.
