News NYC Return of Gionfriddo's U.S. Drag to Benefit Haiti Relief Gina Gionfriddo's Blackburn Prize-winning play U.S. Drag will make a limited New York City return beginning Jan. 27.

Nunya Productions presents the five-performance run that will play through Jan. 31 at the American Theatre of Actors' Sargent Theatre. All proceeds from U.S. Drag will benefit Doctors Without Borders' efforts in Haiti.

Michole Biancosino directs a cast that features Katherine Horlitz (Allison), Mariya King (Angela), Matt Brown (James), David Carl (Ned), Michael Scott King (Evan), Reid Andres (Christopher), Laura King (Mary) and Nicole Stoica (Janice/ Store Manager/ Bartender/ Christen).

U.S. Drag, according to press notes, "tells the darkly comic story of two recent college grads on the hunt for love, money, meaning, and Ed – New York's most elusive serial attacker."

The production will have scenic design by Rome Brown, Michole Biancosino and Michael Scott King, lighting design by Rome Brown and Michael Scott King, and sound design by Amit Prakash.

Gionfriddo's U.S. Drag premiered Off-Broadway in 2008. Her plays also include Becky Shaw, After Ashley, Guinevere, Safe and Trepidation Nation. U.S. Drag marks the inaugural production from Nunya Productions. Michael Scott King and Mariya King founded the company that will benefit charitable organizations through proceeds from its stage productions.
