Pan Asian Repertory's New York premiere of the stage adaptation of The Joy Luck Club, played earlier this year at the Theatre at St. Clement's (April 22 - May 15). Though the production, based on Amy Tan's novel, had strong reviews, the company was forced to leave their residency at St. Clement's when the theatre became a pure rental house. Now, however, Pan Asian Rep will bring back the well-received production -- this time to NYC's Theatre Four, running July 7-Aug. 1.
