With the onslaught of online trading and internet brokerages, interest in "The Street" (Wall, that is) has increased. That fast-paced, high-risk environment serves as the backdrop for Eric Eisenberg's new play, The Arrangement, running at midtown Manhattan's Vital Theatre Dec. 3-17.
A driven young executive making his way up the corporate ladder is offered an "in" on an insider trading scheme. Goaded by an older partner, he goes along with the seemingly foolproof plan but soon finds himself wrapped in an investigation by a female lawyer determined to ruin him.
Laura Stevens directs the production with a cast that includes Rick Bank ("Another World"), Jack Green ("One Life to Live"), former Rockette Jennifer Jiles, and Peter Waldren (Outward Bound).
The Vital Theatre Company, now in it's second year, have produced over fifteen plays and a series of new works called "Vital Signs." The company received the oobr Award for Excellence for their production of Shay Youngblood's Shakin' The Mess Out Of Misery.
