News NYMF Gets Naughty! With Howard and Murin on Sept. 27 Broadway's Lisa Howard, Patti Murin, Michael James Scott and Frank Vlastnick will get Naughty! at NYMF on Sept. 27.

Naughty!, according to press notes, "shines the spotlight on the career of the incredibly prolific, but little known musical theatre composer Emmet Taylor Farkas, who wrote 46 wildly creative and diverse musicals, all undiscovered and unproduced… until now."

Naughty!, winner of the 2007 NYMF Director's Choice Award, promises to bring audiences some unique and outrageous subject matter, including a singing Helen Keller, a cursing Peter Rabbit, a Beaver Cleaver who comes out of the closet and a blues singer that leaves her thalidomide lover for a double amputee. Howard, Murin, Scott and Vlastnick will portray 42 various roles from seven of the musicals penned by Farkas.

Naughty's jokes aren't only within the material: At the center of Naughty! is book writer, lyricist and composer Leo Schwartz, who created the fictitious Emmet Taylor Farkas and his slew of outrageous material.

Naughty! is directed by Fred Hanson with musical direction by Kevin Stites and musical staging by Richard J. Hinds.

Naughty! is presented as part of NYMF's Developmental Series. The musical will play performances at 4:30 and 8 PM on Sept. 27 at the Sage Theater. The Sage Theater is located at 711 Seventh Avenue in Manhattan. Tickets are available by visiting www.nymf.org or by calling (212) 352-3101.
