Based on Escudero’s Bubulino’s Dreams, What@trip a series of connected film noir tales portraying a troupe of virtual super-heroes. A real-time” voyage into the daring reality of an alienated world dominated by media phenomena and its virtual reality, the show fuses media theatre, café concert and Grand Guignol life-sized humanoid-puppet characters.
Known as “Bubi,” Roi Escudero a conceptual-performance art-installation artist, dramatist, designer and director of media-art theatre and originator of Performance Media, a virtual installation of multimedia and live performance. In Argentina, Bubi won a "Gauchito de Plata" for her musical visual theatre: Donald Sol y Luna scored by Donald Mc Cluskey. In the USA Bubi has created more than fifty performance-art pieces and theatrical multimedia installations for museums, art galleries, private events, educational institutions and festivals.
The cast includes Escudero, Andy Chmelko, Bryce Gill, and Olivia Callender. There will be virtual performances by Valentin Ewan, Julio Soler, David Jackson, Josh Sherman, Vivian Deangelo, German Baruffi Dolores Diaz and others. Original songs are by Escudero, Donald & Melody Mc Cluskey, Jesse Cervantes and Gabriel Hermida. Multimedia videos, set-art objects, masks and costumes are designed by Escudero.
