Held at New World Stages, the "Best of the Fest" celebrates the past five seasons of the New York Musical Theatre festival by presenting highlights from musicals that originated at the festival. Currently confirmed are the casts of Rooms, Altar Boyz and [title of show].

In addition actresses Kate Shindle (Legally Blonde) and Jenn Colella (Urban Cowboy), both of whom appeared in NYMF productions, are also set to perform as part of the 7 PM gala. Additional performers will be announced shortly.

The sixth-annual New York Musical Theatre Festival will run Sept. 28-Oct. 18. The annual festival has presented new works from Argentina, Australia, Canada, Great Britain, Korea and across the United States that have gone on to enjoy regional, Off-Broadway and Broadway success.
