Jennifer Ashley Tepper hosts the launch where "four of musical theater's most celebrated composers will appear to be honored by four emerging songwriters for an intimate, history-making night of songs and stories," featuring a Broadway cast and the presentation of special awards.
For "Meeting Our Heroes," Alexander Sage Oyen (Outlaws) will celebrate Bucchino, Danny Abosch (Fancy Nancy) will celebrate Flaherty, Joe Kinosian & Kellen Blair (Murder for Two) will celebrate Strouse and Madeline Myers (Legends & Lore) will celebrate LaChiusa.
The evening also features Bryce Ryness, Janet Krupin, Jeremiah Ginn and Charlotte Maltby.
Paul Saroba (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder) serves as musical director.
