Directed by Billy Porter, the production will play six performances at the ATA Theater through Oct. 4. The cast is headed by Tony Award winner Chuck Cooper (The Life, Caroline or Change), Natalie Venetia Belcon (Avenue Q, The Glorious Ones) and Adam Halpin (Glory Days). The threesome are joined onstage by Leslie Alexander, Alex Brightman, Jenna Coker-Jones, Paul Downs Colaizzo, Alex Covington, Kevin Curtis, Jill Ginsberg, Alexis Grausz, Jessica Phillips, Lucas Steele and Valerie Wright.

Twilight in Manchego features music, lyrics and book by Jonathan Larson Award winner Matt Gould. The musical, according to press notes, "maps the story of Esau Munsey, who leaves a haunted past in the city to teach fourth grade in a provincial elementary school. But his intentions to provoke change in an outdated education system distract him from the students he really wants to inspire. When Esau's history repeats itself and the small town of Manchego is struck by tragedy, Esau must finally put to rest the ghosts of his past and make peace with himself and his choices."

The creative team also includes set designer Alexis Distler, lighting designer Driscoll Otto, musical arranger Michael McElroy and orchestrator/musical director Justin Hatchimonji. The stage manager is Karen Parlato.

Show times are Sept. 25 at 8 PM, Sept. 26 at 7 PM, Sept. 27 at 9 PM, Sept. 29 at 8 PM, Oct. 1 at 8 PM and Oct. 4 at 1 PM.
