The Times Square music club, The China Club, inaugurates its new Broadway cabaret series with two musical theatre events at 8 PM Sunday, July 12. The first will be a concert presentation of the series' artistic director Neil Berg's Prince and The Pauper musical, followed by an All-Star Broadway Jam featuring Rob Evan, Christiane Noll, Leah Hocking (Jekyll & Hyde), Marc Kudisch (High Society), Danny Zolli (Jesus Christ Superstar), Brian d'Arcy James (Titanic), Anna McNeely, Michelle Mallardi (Beauty and the Beast, and Jim Stanek (Forum, plus others not yet announced.

After the cabaret, an all night Broadway dance party will follow at the China Club's disco.

Future acts planned for the series include Heather MacRae (Falsettos) singing the music of Gordon MacRae in "Songs of My Father" July 19, Bobby Day and Friends from Smokey Joes Cafe Aug. 2, and d'Arcy James on Aug. 9. All shows will be at 8 PM.

The China Club is at 222 West 47th Street. Tickets are available for $35 per person with a food and drink minimum. Standing room is also available for $20 and does not include a minimum. Reservations can be made by calling China Club at 212-398-3800. The Broadway Series is 21 and up only.
