The Pantheon Theater's final production of its debut season, Howard Korder's Search and Destroy, runs at The Pantheon Theater, May 27 June 13.
Set during the 1980's , Search and Destroy follows a small time businessman's obsessive pursuit of making his mark on society. On the run from the IRS and intent on making his film, Martin claws at any opportunity to finance his dream. His path leads to murder, drugs and ultimately, success in Hollywood. Search and Destroy reveals the decade's shameless love of money and the shallowness it left behind -- it's the evolution of the 80's undressed and examined. Pantheon's production will be directed by Simon Hammerstein.
Search and Destroy made its New York debut at The Circle in the Square in 1992, and played for 46 performances.
