New York's Downtown home of performance art presents a dance/performance party benefit, Toast! on February 21. Performances include: Alien Comic, David Cale, Circus Amok, Elevator Repair Service, David Neumann, The Elementals and many more.
Also on the evening's bill is: a $1000 dance contest, an auction of art work and theatre tickets, and an evening of dance with Guest DJ's: DJ Spooky, that Subliminal Kid, DJ Aldo Hernandez, DJ Stevie Nicks, and Vivian Trimble of Lucious Jackson.
Founded in 1979, PS 122 has housed the start of numerous theatre artists and solo performers including Blue Man Group, Meredith Monk, Karen Finley, Eric Bogosian. Upcoming 1998 productions include new work by Jane Comfort, Danny Hoch, Annie Sprinkle and Carmelita Tropicana.
