The Blue Light Theatre Company's world premiere production of Jessica Goldberg's The Hologram Theory, which began previews March 17 in New York City, opens officially on March 27. The limited engagement ends April 9.

Directed by Ruben Polendo, The Hologram Theory is loosely based on the Michael Alig/Angel Melendez murder case. An epic thriller, Hologram involves the "ghost of a Trinidad-born, New York club kid who summons his twin sister to solve the mystery of his life and death, against the backdrop of Manhattan's seductive underground party scene."

Joie Susannah Lee stars in the show. She appeared on Broadway as Zora Neale Hurston in Lincoln Center Theater's Mule Bone; and in the films "Personals," "Losing Isaiah," "Mo' Better Blues," "Do the Right Thing," "Fathers and Sons," "A Kiss Before Dying" and "She's Gotta Have It."

The cast also features Daniel Bess, T.R. Knight, Chris Messina, Kellie Overbey, Michael Alexis Palmer, Jennifer Rau, Elizabeth Reaser, Corey Stoll and Bill Torres.

The production team comprises costume designer Carol Bailey, set designer Ryan Mueller and co-set designer Scott Spahr. Tickets are $30. The Hologram Theory plays at the McGinn/Cazale Theater at Broadway and West 76th Street. For tickets call TicketCentral at (212) 279-4200.
