News   OB's Repertorio Español Finalizes Divorciadas as Ott Comedy Ends Aug. 26 What do you get when you cross a divorcee, an Evangelist and a vegetarian? Repertorio Español provides the punchline in their production, Divorciadas, Evangélicas Y Vegetarianas (Divorcees, Evangelists and Vegetarians) at the Gramercy Arts Theatre. The production, which ran earlier in the year, is set to end its limited run Aug. 26 as scheduled. It began its second run Aug. 16.

Repertorio Español provides the punchline in their production, Divorciadas, Evangélicas Y Vegetarianas (Divorcees, Evangelists and Vegetarians) at the Gramercy Arts Theatre. As the tagline explains, "The divorced one is Puerto Rican, the evangelical one is Dominican and the vegetarian is Venezuelan." The three Latinas meet by chance one evening following an attempted suicide. The production features Puerto Rican television actresses Luisa de los Ríos and Olga Sesta and Dominican actress Xiomara Rodríguez. Yvonne Caro alternates in one of the roles.

The comedy By Gustavo Ott has played Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, Spain, Argentina and Puerto Rico. Directed by Alina Marrero, the production will run in Spanish with simultaneous English translation via headset.
