Off-Broadway's Women's Project & Productions opens Our Place in Time by Clare Coss, Feb. 6. Bryna Wortman directs the play, which began previews Jan. 26.
A montage of women's lives from the last fifty years, Our Place in Time travels from two high school girls in the 1950s discovering their sexuality to the Anita Hill-Clarence Thomas hearings of the 1990s. Six actors play the 32 characters struggling to discover meaning in the latter half of the 20th Century.
Featured in the cast are Gena Bardwell (Moving Targets), Elizabeth Hess (M. Butterfly), Jacqueline Knapp (Dancing At Lughnasa) Norman Maxwell (Death of a Salesman), Daniel McDonald ("Sex and the City," Steel Pier) and Keith Randolph Smith (The Piano Lesson).
Designing the show are Narelle Sissons (sets), Gail Cooper-Hecht (costumes), Jane Cox (lights) and Stefan Jacobs (sound).
