Last Chance to catch Ensemble Studio Theatre's annual Octoberfest. True to its title, the Fest lasts only as long as the month of October (though it does cheat a little, creeping on until Nov. 2).
The month-long event includes staged reading and full productions of both old and new plays, on EST's two stages. Admission is free but reservations are required.
Among the plays to be staged or produced during this last weekend are My Tony by Susan Sandler; Two Virgins in Togas Chained to a Rock by Heather Robinson; Underneath by Lloyd Price; Touch the Names by Randy Myler; Zulu Pet by Kent Alexander; Love and Anger by George F. Walker; Birth Marks by Leslie Caputo; and Mayday Give Me the Money/The Empire State by Michael Louis Wells.
All performances take place at EST's space at 549 W. 52nd St. In Manhattan. For information, call (212) 247-4982.
