News Off Broadway Alliance to Present Seminar on Producing in NYC The event will feature the creators, producers, and literary agents from shows like Cagney and Peter and the Starcatcher.

The Off Broadway Alliance is set to present the next event in its Seminars series: a seminar and panel discussion focused on the Off-Broadway producing process. The event, titled Page to Stage, or How to Get Your Show to Off-Broadway, will feature the creators, producers, and literary agents from shows like Cagney and Peter and the Starcatcher.

Page to Stage, or How to Get Your Show to Off-Broadway will be held February 4 at 11 AM at The Theater Center, located at 210 West 50th Street. The seminar will discuss various pathways of developing shows from conception towards a production in the Off-Broadway arena.

The panel will feature producer Charlotte Cohn (Church and State, Handle with Care); playwright Matt Cox (Puffs); co-author, co-producer, and star of Cagney, Robert Creighton; and literary agent Mark Subias, who represents clients that span film, television, and theatre. Hugh Hysell (producer of Six Degrees of Separation, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike) will moderate the discussion curated from questions submitted by attendees.

Doors will open at 10:30 AM for complimentary coffee and bagels. The panel discussion will run through 12:30 PM with additional time allotted afterward for conversation. Admission is $5; click here to register.
