Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke may be heading to the West End in summer 2018 to star in Chiara Atik’s Five Times in One Night, according to a report from the U.K.’s Daily Mail. The play had a limited Off-Broadway engagement at Ensemble Studio Theatre in 2015.
Five Times in One Night recounts the intimate stories of five couples—played by the same two actors—over the course of one night. Performances ran in New York February–April 2015 at EST, where it garnered positive reviews from critics.
Thea Sharrock, who recently directed Clark in the film Me Before You, is reportedly tapped to direct Atik’s comedy in London. Dates, a theatre, and a complete cast have not yet been announced.
Clarke is currently filming the next movie in the Star Wars anthology, slated for release in May 2018. She has yet to make her West End stage debut, but was seen on Broadway as Holly Golightly in the 2013 revival of Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
