The Off-Broadway premiere of Shem Bitterman's The Stone Witch begins performances March 12 at The Westside Theatre - Upstairs.

Dan Lauria plays a veteran children’s book writer and illustrator who, in an attempt to reignite his creativity, is encouraged to collaborate with a talented young writer, played by Rupak Ginn.

Directed by Steve Zuckerman, The Stone Witch is set to officially open Off-Broaway March 25. Carolyn McCormick completes the cast.

The production features set and projection design by Yael Pardess and Brad Peterson, costume design by Mimi Maxmen, lighting design by Betsy Adams, sound design by Christopher Cronin, and original music composed by Roger Bellon. The production stage manager is J.P. Elins with assistant stage manager Michael Friedlander.

The Stone Witch is produced by Darlene Kaplan, Laura Janik Cronin, and Scott J. Newsome in association with Alec Seymour. The world premiere was produced at The Berkshire Theatre Group in association with Darlene Kaplan Entertainment and Brierpatch Productions in 2016.
