The Working Theater production takes you through one of the largest public works projects in the Western Hemisphere: New York City's building of a third water tunnel. (The city already has two.) Construction of the tunnel, which lies 80 stories underground, began in 1970 and won't be finished until 2025 -- which means there's room for a sequel here.

Jaye Austin-Williams directs. Music is by Steve Elson and Mio Morales did the sound design. Tunnel was first produced in 1996 at Dance Theatre Workshop and then HERE. For more information on the current production, call (212) 279-4200.
