Tickets are currently on sale through Aug. 25 for the production, which was originally scheduled to conclude July 14.

As previously reported, a cast recording will be released by Jay Records at a date to be announced.

The cast features Jenn Colella (Urban Cowboy, High Fidelity), George Dvorsky (The Scarlet Pimpernel), 2011 Tony nominee Christiane Noll (Ragtime, Jekyll & Hyde) and Sal Viviano (The Full Monty).

Directed by Maltby with music direction by Andrew Gerle, Closer Than Ever, according to the York, is described as an "intimate musical about love, friendship, security, happiness — and holding onto those essentials in a world that pulls us in a hundred directions at once."
