News Off-Broadway's Middletown Is a Boom Town, Getting Two Extra Weeks The run of Vineyard Theatre's world-premiere production of Will Eno's play Middletown, a snapshot of people in an American town, has been extended by two weeks, through Dec. 5.

Directed by Ken Rus Schmoll, the play was originally scheduled to run through Nov. 21. It opened Nov. 3.

Reviews were positive, prompting the extension. Earlier this season, Middletown was named the inaugural recipient of the newly established Horton Foote Prize for Promising New American Play.

The cast of Middletown features Heather Burns, Cindy Cheung, Johanna Day, Georgia Engel, David Garrison, Ed Jewett, McKenna Kerrigan, James McMenamin, Michael Park, Linus Roache, Olivia Scott and Pete Simpson.

Performances are Tuesdays at 7 PM, Wednesdays through Fridays at 8 PM, Saturdays at 3 PM and 8 PM, and Sundays at 3 PM. Tickets to Middletown are $65 and can be reserved by calling the Vineyard Theatre box office at (212) 353-0303 or online at www.vineyardtheatre.org. Vineyard is at 108 E. 15th Street. Additionally, there is a $20 day-of student rush ticket.
