News   Off-Broadway's Pieces to Open in Los Angeles, Oct. 29
The Off-Broadway work Pieces (of Ass), which is now playing at the China Club after a run at Theatre 80, will open in Los Angeles on Oct. 29 at Raleigh Studios.

The work, which features Jenna Morasca (of TV's "Survivor") in New York, is produced by New Scenario Entertainment. Productions are also being planned for Chicago and Las Vegas. Conceived and directed by Brian Howie, Pieces (of Ass) features original monologues which center on the topic of being an attractive woman. The work delves into "the perks and the privileges to the problems and the pressures," as described in a release.

The Manhattan production reopened on Sept. 8. The cast includes Diahnna Nicole Baxter, Marissa Clark, Leigh Elliott, Sara Rae Gore, Rachel Hollon, Heidi Kristoffer, Tami Mansfield, Cassie Pappas, Laurel Pinson and Rachel Robbins. No cast for the L.A. show has been announced.
