Performances with composer-lyricist Ogborn at the piano began May 3 at Don't Tell Mama. Kelly Briggs directs a cast that includes Jerry Christakos, Dori Legg and Lorinda Lisitza.

Ogborn is known for his musicals Baby Case (based on the Lindbergh baby kidnapping) and Café Puttanesca, both seen in premieres by Arden Theatre Company in Philadelphia, the songwriter's hometown. He also wrote the revue Box Office of the Damned, seen in New York and regionally.

"Used Faces has some new songs, two songs cut from Café Puttanesca and a bunch of cabaret songs that have found a home in this show," Ogborn told Playbill On-Line. "It's a showcase for me as a writer and for the performers — I chose material that would show them in their best light."

Ogborn said the show, which has a "uniting theme of nostalgia," is expected to play a return fall engagement in New York, and perhaps a weekend in Philly this summer. Song titles include "An Evening Without Margaret Whiting," "If I Didn't Know Now," "Bring Back My Ringing Phone," "Oh, How I Miss the Kaiser" and an infomercial hawking a new psychic hotline featuring the witches from Macbeth.
