News Oh Hell No! Benefit Oct. 27 at New World Stages Civil rights activist and author David Mixner will premiere his new stage work, Oh Hell No!, a one night only evening of autobiographical storytelling, Oct. 27 at 7:00 PM at New World Stages.

Known perhaps best a political firebrand, author David Mixner will chronicle his personal and public political life, "in the grand tradition of the American South," using a mix of story and song. Oh Hell No! will be directed by Stephen Brackett and will feature a specially assembled vocalist trio including Chris Bolan, Megan Osterhaus and Tim Jerome.

Event chairs for the evening include Alan Cumming, Robert Desiderio, Herb Hamsher, Judith Light, Ken Mehlman, Rob Smith, Jonathan Stoller, Jorge Valencia and Edie Windsor; proceeds from the evening will benefit the Point Foundation, an organization which helps LGBT youth achieve their fullest academic and leadership potential.
