According to Old Globe notes, "Boeing-Boeing is an uproarious jet-propelled comedy that had audiences and critics cheering on Broadway and London's West End. Bernard, a successful architect living in Paris, thinks he can easily juggle his three flight attendant fiancées. It's all a question of timing and a little help from his trusted housekeeper who reluctantly plays romantic air traffic controller. When an old friend arrives and his three fiancées each change their flight schedules, his life hits some unexpected turbulence." The creative team also includes Chris Rynne (lighting design), Paul Peterson (sound design), Dan Rosokoff (stage manager) and Annette Yé (assistant stage manager).

The classic '60s farce was originally written in French by Camoletti and was translated by Cross for its 1962 London premiere. The London production ran for seven years and became the most performed French play in the world according to Guinness World Records. The original Broadway run was a flop, but the Warchus touch made it a hit in 2008.
