This is the third time that Frayn's play will have played in the commercial West End: the original Lyric Hammersmith production moved to the Savoy (then Broadway) and the National Theatre revival moved to the Piccadilly (then Broadway).

According to press materials, Noises Off has been the highest-grossing show in the history of The Old Vic Theatre Company, breaking weekly box-office records during its run.

Lindsay Posner's production will transfer with Jonathan Coy, Janie Dee, Robert Glenister, Jamie Glover, Celia Imrie, Karl Johnson and Paul Ready all reprising their Old Vic roles, with the characters of Poppy Norton-Taylor and Brooke Ashton to be announced shortly.
