Eddie Carroll makes a rare Los Angeles appearance in his solo show, Tribute to Jack Benny, which opens Feb. 16 for a one-week run at the Cinegrill in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. The engagement is a benefit for the Variety Clubs of Southern California.
Carroll currently performs his Jack Benny impersonation across the country, including appearances in Las Vegas, Miami, Reno, San Francisco and Atlantic City. Carroll's stage and television career has spanned four decades. He has been the voice of Walt Disney's Jiminy Cricket for the past 24 years.
On Feb. 20, closing night, the show will celebrate Jack Benny's birthday (which is Feb. 14, Valentine's Day). All seats for that performance, as well as those on the 18th and 19th have been sold out.
The Cinegrill is located at 7000 Hollywood Blvd. Call (323) 466-7000 for information.
