Classic Arts News One Mormon Tabernacle Choir CD Bumps Another From Top of Billboard Chart The Mormon Tabernacle Choir's America's Choir: Favorite Songs, Hymns & Anthems moved to the top of the Billboard classical chart for the first time this week. The group's Choose Something Like a Star, which had been number one last week, dropped to number two.
A previous album from the choir, Peace Like a River, dropped from number four to number eight.

Two albums debuted on the chart this week: the London Philharmonic's recording of Karl Jenkins' The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace at number 19, and the Boston Early Music Festival's recording of Johann Georg Conradi's long-lost Ariadne at number 20.

On the classical crossover chart, Il Divo, the soundtrack to Star Wars Episode III, and Josh Groban's Closer remained at numbers one, two, and three, respectively.
