Target Margin Theatre continues their season of "Lost American Classics" with Percey Mackaye's 1908 play, The Scarecrow at NADA.
With the series, Target Margin brings to the stage seldom seen (or read) plays from the end of the 19th Century and beginning of the 20th century. Many of these plays--formerly the toast of the town, now have been relegated to the back shelf of Theatre History. Target Margin breathes new life into these plays by producing them for Contemporary audiences.
In The Scarecrow, based on a short story by Nathaniel Hawthorne, tells the tale of a Scarecrow brought to life by an unholy collaboration between a witch and The Devil.
The play is directed by Yuri Skujins, with a cast including: Mark Bryne, Michele Chivu, Judy Elkan, Tony Jackson, Marta Lastufka, D.J. Mendel, Thomas Jay Ryan, Maria Striar, Susan Tierney, Oliver Wadsworth and Obie Award winning actor, James Urbaniak as the Scarecrow.

Phipps Kids - Developed with the community at The Phipps Plaza Housing Development. Target Margin Theatre's after-school program, kids of all ages will present their own interpretation of an American classic.
