Paul Simon is holding open auditions Saturday, Sept. 21, for his new musical The Capeman, which is tentatively scheduled to open on Broadway in fall 1997.
Simon is seeking Latino and African-American singers and dancers for the musical, based on a real-life Manhattan murder case.
Dancers ranging in age from 7 to 60 should report to Musical Theatre Works at 440 Lafayette Street in Greenwich Village 9:30 AM to 5 PM.
Simon, formerly half of Simon & Garfunkel, composed the Grammy-winning Graceland album, among many others.
