Carol Fineman, a press rep for Purple, told the Associated Press that Winfrey will attend the annual ceremony at Radio City Music Hall, but she will not host the awards.

Tony Award winner Hugh Jackman has hosted the Tony ceremony the past three years, but no host has been named for the 2006 broadcast. Allen Eichhorn, a spokesman for the Tony Awards, told AP, "We don't discuss potential hosts until we make our announcement."

The cut-off date for Tony eligibility for the current season is May 10.

The 2006 Tony Awards will be broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall on CBS-TV on June 11. Nomination for the awards will be announced on May 16.
