Betsy Wolfe returns to Broadway June 13, taking center stage as Jenna in Waitress. The Broadway favorite assumes the role from the musical’s composer, Tony and Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles.
Wolfe last appeared on Broadway in the revival of Falsettos. Her additional New York credits include Bullets Over Broadway, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Everyday Rapture, 110 in the Shade and The Last Five Years.
The current cast of Waitress also features Chris Diamantopoulos as Dr. Pomatter, Christopher Fitzgerald as Ogie, Will Swenson as Earl, Caitlin Houlahan as Dawn, Charity Angel Dawson as Becky, Eric Anderson as Cal, and Dakin Matthews as Joe. As previously reported, original cast member will take over for Diamantopoulos beginning June 27.
