News Original Broadway Cast Recording of Priscilla Queen of the Desert Due in March The original Broadway cast recording of Priscilla Queen of the Desert The Musical, which is scheduled to begin previews on Broadway Feb. 28 at the Palace Theatre, will be recorded next week in New York City produced by Stephen "Spud" Murphy and Frank Filipetti for the Rhino label.

The new recording will be available March 15 at all retail outlets, including www.rhino.com, for a suggested list price of $18.98 (CD) and $11.99 (digital).

Following its North American debut engagement in Toronto, Priscilla will officially open on Broadway March 20.

Adapted from the Academy Award-winning film "The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert," Priscilla Queen of the Desert The Musical is written by Stephan Elliott and Allan Scott. The production features direction by Simon Phillips, choreography by Ross Coleman and musical supervision and arrangements by Stephen "Spud" Murphy.

The cast is led by Olivier Award nominee Tony Sheldon, Tony Award nominee Will Swenson and Nick Adams.
