Noah Himmelstein (I Am Harvey Milk) will again direct the performance that will be hosted by Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party, Big Fish, I Am Harvey Milk).

The annual event honors legendary playwrights, composers and lyricists who have greatly impacted the American theatre.

The writers, whose work will be honored at the gala, include Scott Frankel (Grey Gardens), Sheldon Harnick (Fiddler on the Roof, Fiorello), Michael Korie (Grey Gardens), Lisa Kron (Fun Home, Well), James Lapine (Into the Woods, Act One), Terrence McNally (Master Class, It's Only A Play), Charles Strouse (Bye Bye Birdie, Annie), Jeanine Tesori (Caroline or Change, Violet) and Stephen Trask (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Cavedweller).

Among the stars who will perform their works are original Into the Woods cast members Gleason and Zien, as well as young Fun Home actress Lucas alongside Broderick (The Producers), Ebersole (Grey Gardens), Marva Hicks (Caroline, or Change), Ramona Keller (Caroline, or Change), Linda Lavin (The Lyons, Broadway Bound) and Tracy Nicole Chapman (The Lion King). Charlie Rosen will musical direct.

Ann Gottlieb and Heidi Ettinger are the year's special honorees.

The evening begins with a cocktail reception at 6:30 PM followed by the dinner and celebration at 7:30 PM.
