News Original Lion King Star Heads to Joe's Pub in July Tsidii Le Loka, who created the role of Rafiki in the original Broadway company of The Lion King, will go it solo at Joe's Pub this summer.

On July 16 the award-winning actress will perform a solo concert at the intimate cabaret. Attendees can expect to hear Le Loka's original tunes as well as works by Miriam Makeba and Bob Dylan. Show time is 7:30 PM. For her performance in The Lion King Le Loka received a Tony Award nomination as well as Drama League, Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk awards. She also appeared on Broadway in Riverdance and played Bloody Mary in the Dallas Theatre Center's production of South Pacific. Her screen credits include "Tsidii Le Loka in Concert" and "Caught in the Act."
