News Original Renter Stewart Returns to Broadway April 29 Gwen Stewart, who was the lead vocalist in "Seasons of Love" when Rent debuted on Broadway, returns to that Pulitzer Prize-winning musical April 29.

Stewart's return also marks the 11th anniversary of the hit musical at the Nederlander Theatre. Stewart will remain with the show through May 27.

In addition to Rent Gwen Stewart has also been seen onstage in Big River, Starmites, Suds, Ain't Misbehavin', The Wiz, Avenue X and Abyssinia. Her screen credits include "Notes From the Underbelly," "Related," "Law & Order," "Charmed," "All My Children," "Moesha," "24," "Strong Medicine," "The Guardian," "Down To Earth" and "Personals."

After an acclaimed run Off-Broadway, Rent transferred to Broadway's Nederlander Theatre, opening April 29, 1996. With book, music and lyrics by the late Jonathan Larson, the original cast included Adam Pascal, Anthony Rapp, Idina Menzel, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Wilson Jermaine Heredia and Jesse L. Martin. Larson's score features such songs as "Rent," "I'll Cover You," "Seasons of Love," "One Song Glory."

Rent plays Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings at 8 PM, Saturdays at 2 and 8 PM and Sundays at 2 and 7 PM. Tickets, priced $45-$100, are available by calling (212) 307-4100 or by visiting www.ticketmaster.com.
