News Original Tony-Winning Star Will Be Part of 54 Sings Kiss of the Spider Woman Initial casting has been announced for 54 Sings Kiss of the Spider Woman — part of the "54 Sings" series, celebrating the music of Broadway scores through live performances of their biggest hits — which will be presented Oct. 12 at 7 PM and 9:30 PM at 54 Below.

Anthony Crivello, who won a Tony Award for his performance as Valentin in the original 1993 Broadway production of Kiss of the Spider Woman, will headline the evening celebrating John Kander and Fred Ebb's award-winning score. He will be joined by two-time Helen Hayes Award winner Natascia Diaz, seen in the Signature Theatre production of the musical, Nicholas Rodriguez, Graham Bailey, Stephen Orr, Paul Pontrelli and Michael Romeo Ruocco.

Scott Coulter will direct with musical direction by John Fisher.

Inspired by the internationally best-selling novel by Manuel Puig, Kiss of the Spider Woman, which has a book by Terrence McNally, won seven Tony Awards, including trophies for Best Musical and Best Score. Kander and Ebb's score includes "Where You Are," "I Do Miracles," "Dear One" and "Kiss of the Spider Woman."
