Athol Fugard and LisaGay Hamilton, who starred in Fugard's two-character drama, Valley Song, at Manhattan Theatre Club, Dec. 1995-Jan. 1996, will reprise their roles when the play opens at the Mark Taper Forum March 13. Set in South Africa's Karoo desert region, Valley Song shows the relationship between an old tenant farmer and his restless, 17-year-old daughter. Fugard plays both the elderly farmhand and the white narrator who owns the land. Hamilton won an Obie Award for her portrayal of spirited Veronica.

Fugard's other works include Master Harold...And The Boys, Sizwe Bansi Is Dead, A Lesson From Aloes, Blood Knot, The Road To Mecca and My Children! My Africa!.
