Tony, Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning actress Rosemary Harris, who starred in Pink Lady at both New Jersey's George Street Playhouse and San Diego's Old Globe, will repeat her work for New York audiences. Frank Dunlop again directs. Performances will continue through Feb. 1, 2009.

In Oscar and the Pink Lady, press notes state, Harris "portrays Oscar, a ten year-old hospital patient, his friends, his family, and Granny Pink, an ancient hospital volunteer, whose wit and compassion transform the lives of those around her. Through her discovery of a series of letters that Oscar, at her suggestion, has written to God, the richness of his imagination and the universe of the children's ward are revealed. His indomitable spirit and his observations, by turns sensitive, funny, heartbreaking and ultimately uplifting, create a tale that resonates with audiences of all ages."

Rosemary Harris' Broadway credits include A Delicate Balance, Waiting in the Wings, An Inspector Calls, Hay Fever, Pack of Lies, Heartbreak House, The Royal Family, A Streetcar Named Desire, Old Times and The Lion in the Winter (Tony Award). She was nominated for an Academy Award for her performance in "Tom & Viv" and won the Emmy for her work in "Notorious Woman."

The creative team includes scenic designer Michael Vaughn Sims, costume designer Jane Greenwood, sound designer Lindsay Jones and lighting designer Christopher J. Bailey.
