News Oscar Winner Tomei to Star in Flea Theater's Oh the Humanity and Other Good Intentions Academy Award winner Marisa Tomei will head the cast of the Flea Theater's upcoming production of Will Eno's Oh the Humanity and Other Good Intentions.

The world premiere production will begin previews Nov. 3 at the Off-Broadway venue with an official opening Nov. 29. The limited engagement will run through Dec. 22. Directed by Jim Simpson, the cast will also include Brian Hutchison and Drew Hildebrand. The production will feature set design by Kyle Chepulis, lighting design by Brian Aldous, costume design by Claudia Brown, sound design by Jill BC DuBoff and video/projection design by Dustin O'Neill.

Oh the Humanity and Other Good Intentions comprises five short plays: Behold The Coach, In Sorrow, Uninsured; Ladies and Gentlemen: The Rain; Enter the Spokeswoman, Sideways; The Bully Composition; and Oh, the Humanity. The plays, according to press notes, are about "people like you, facing lives like yours. About life, in a word." The production, press notes add, is "not suitable for children."

Marisa Tomei has appeared on Broadway in Salome and Wait Until Dark. She won the Academy Award for her performance in "My Cousin Vinny" and was Oscar-nominated for her work in "In the Bedroom." Tomei is a member of the Naked Angels Theater Company.
