Classic Arts News Ottawa Jazz Festival Announces 2005 Lineup The TD Canada Trust Ottawa International Jazz Festival will feature performances by saxophonists Sonny Rollins and Joshua Redman and Canadian vocalist Diana Krall, the festival announced.
The festival, which is marking its 25th anniversary, runs June 23-July 3.

During the summer series, the festival will launch its yearlong 25th Anniversary Concert Series with a concert featuring saxophonist Branford Marsalis and singer/pianist Harry Connick Jr. The two will perform the world premiere of a new work titled Occasion. The series will continue on July 9 with a concert by guitarist Pat Metheny and his group.

Other top musicians on the schedule include veteran saxophonist Benny Golson, trumpeter Terrence Blanchard, saxophonist David Sanchez, and the trio of bassist Stanley Clarke, banjo player B_la Fleck, and violinist Jean-Luc Ponty.
